Allowing faculty release time funds for the preparation of extramural grant applications
The UW System and WiSys Technology Foundation are offering limited funds to System faculty to exclusively support faculty time to write extramural grant applications. All grant applications will be considered. Funding may be requested for any discipline, but preference will be given for science, technology, engineering and mathematics applications. Although there is no deadline for the Reassignment Time Grant submissions, applicants are encouraged to apply without delay as funds are limited. Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. Grants will be limited to a maximum of $3,500 per applicant, broken down as follows: UW System will contribute $2,500; WiSys will contribute $500; each campus will be required to contribute $500.
